By the way...

In Russian schools all the grades are divided  into classes  (constant groups of 20-30 children). All the classes within one level or grade have letters - for instance 1a or 1b. Our class is 5c and it's divided into two equal groups for English lessons.   We haven't still told you that our class is a special one. See comments to find out the secret!

Easter in Russia

Last Sunday we celebrated Easter  because Orthodoxy is the primary religion in Russia. We made a poster about celebration of Easter in Russia. As you can see we have no Easter Bunnies. And one more thing about Easter Tapping or Easter Egg Fight - in Russia the one who wins the game gets all the eggs :)

Something about... Katya

One of my brightest students! She's like two-in-one: a very serious responsible adult and a very happy naughty child :) It's always a great fun to work with her :)

Something about... Masha

When I first met Masha  thought she's too calm and she never smiles. That's not true! She's funny in her own way, merry and very-very-very nice :)

Something about... Yarik

The merriest student ever! Always smiling, talking, and making everybody around him happy :)

Something about... Denis

Denis is energetic, funny and talkative though sometimes he prefers to be serious :)

Something about... Artyom

Artyom is one of the most interesting students for me - he's always well concentrated on what he's doing but he also has a joke or two for every situation :)))
